Key Objectives

  • Develop supply-side regulatory frameworks for EV charging infrastructure deployment in Ghana
  • Establish technical standards, grid-integration and interoperability requirements for e-mobility supply equipment
  • Assess utility readiness, tariff design and revenue mechanisms for licensed charging service providers
  • Review import duties, vehicle homologation and battery end-of-life rules to de-risk private-sector entry
  • Recommend safety, consumer-protection and licensing instruments for charge-point operators
