Director’s Welcome Message
Director’s Welcome Message
You are warmly welcome to the Regional Centre of Energy and Environmental Sustainability (RCEES). This centre has been established under the Africa Higher Education Centres of Excellence (ACE) Project.
RCEES is committed to conducting cutting-edge research in energy and environment to support and promote sustainable development. We are committed to promoting quality and excellent postgraduate education that can transform and support sustainable development. We therefore provide the conducive environment to make learning enjoyable for both our national and international students. These include scholarships and a very supportive staff. I therefore invite prospective postgraduate students to choose to study with us.
The Centre is open to collaborating with both government and non-governmental stakeholders to promote excellent and impactful research. I therefore would like to get on board to support the achievement of vision of RCEES.
We are grateful for the collaboration and support thus far from the Ministry of Energy, Ministry of Environment, Ministry of Education, BUI Power, Water Resources Commission and the Ghana Institute of Engineers and many others.
Although we are quite young a centre, we are already making impacts within the University, the country and the sub-region. We will keep working around the clock and forming partnerships that will propel RCEES to become a leading centre of excellence in energy and environmental sustainability.
