Background
The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) Energy Service Centre (ESC) was set up to be a one-stop shop for renewable energy (RE) and energy efficiency (EE) training and consultancy services, especially relating to the adoption of RE/EE among AGI members and the larger Ghanaian public. The Centre is hosted by the AGI, with technical and financial support from the German Development Cooperation.
The Centre is a component of the bilateral project between Germany and Ghana known as “Market Entry into Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency for the Productive Sector in Ghana”.
Expected Impacts
- Provide market analysis on RE/EE
- Provide training on RE/EE solutions for large electricity consumers and RE/EE investment options
- Facilitate the linkage between service providers and consumers
- Lead advocacy on the adoption of RE/EE
