The EPIC Summer School returns with a three-week training focused on systems modeling of the Water-Energy-Food (WEF) nexus using the CLEWs framework and the OSeMOSYS tool.

Hosted by UENR in collaboration with KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Delft University of Technology, and VITO, this programme is designed to build modeling capacity among students, early-career researchers, and professionals in energy and environmental planning.

The training is delivered in two phases:

• Phase 1: One-week online training [4^th – 8^th August 2025]
• Phase 2: Two-week in-person modeling session at UENR [11^th – 22^th August, 2025]

Applicants are required to complete and obtain a certificate from The Open University site on the “Introduction to CLEWs” course as a prerequisite.

Please note: The training is free of charge, but participants are responsible for their own accommodation and food expenses.
